Behind every organization is a story. Shani Pride is that storyteller.

As the media and communications pro at Gro, Pride oversees content, communications and media strategies for the firm. Her job is to work with cross-functional teams to strategically imagine, elevate, inspire and move the needle. 

“My job is to create authentic, cinematic, and thought provoking content that tells a powerful story,” Pride states.

Pride knows storytelling, her career is deeply rooted in performing, writing, directing and producing for film and television. She attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, the UCLA Theater School, and the Sundance Institute.

“I feel truly blessed that what I do every day lands squarely within my passions and purpose in life,” she says. “The power and influence of media to bring about change drives me. I also love working with impact-driven companies that put people over profit and are focused on making a difference around the social issues of our time.”
