Brian Rigby is an esteemed Architect and Design Leader with a rich history of dedicated service to Non-Profit organizations spanning over 20 years. Throughout his extensive career, Brian has passionately contributed his expertise to more than 250 design projects for Non-Profits across the nation. At Gro, Brian assumes a pivotal role as the overseer of the Architecture and Experience Design Division (AxD). In this capacity, he spearheads Design, Architectural, and Engineering Consulting, as well as Interior Design initiatives. Charged with the development and execution of design strategies, Brian ensures seamless integration with the overarching vision, values, and business objectives of his clientele. Drawing upon a diverse portfolio of project experiences, he infuses the design process with a distinctive and imaginative flair, resulting in facilities that excel in performance and seamlessly adapt to diverse locales and environments.
Before his tenure in YMCA design and development consulting, Brian distinguished himself as a project architect for a prominent national architectural firm based in North Carolina and Washington D.C. A proud alumnus of Virginia Tech, Brian holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree. He is a registered architect in the state of Maryland and holds membership in the esteemed American Institute of Architects. Additionally, Brian is LEED Accredited by the US Green Building Council, underscoring his commitment to sustainable design practices.
Residing in Annapolis, Maryland, with his spouse and four children, Brian finds solace and joy in various pursuits outside of his professional endeavors. He indulges his passion for music as the singer and guitarist of a one-man band, actively supports youth sports from the sidelines, and embraces the serenity of the pontoon boat lifestyle.
